Previously I have updated detailed tutorial about How to Add and Verify Your Bank Account Details in Mturk for Withdrawing Earnings
I had published that tutorial only after finishing the verifying process on my Mturk account.

Today I am writing this article for those who have completed the bank account verification process. That means now we will discuss how you can transfer your Mturk hit earnings to your bank account and receive the same in Indian currency
As all Mturkians know after finishing a hit successfully, we all receive the payment in dollar to Mturk account. Previously when we withdraw earnings by cheque, earnings automatically converted to Indian Rupees. The same thing will happen here also
So let see how you can receive your Turk earning to associated bank account
Refer the picture for any clarification
Step 1 :- Click on Earning and you can see the earnings available for transfer
Step 2 :- Using mouse, click on direct deposit your bank account
Step 3 :- Enter the amount that which you are withdrawing in US$ (In my case it is $3.46 )
Step 4 :- Click on Continue
Step 5 :- Final Step to Get Your Payments
You can see below screen saying to confirm the requested amount transfer to your bank account.
So finally click on "Confirm Transfer" and you are done and payment will be in your bank within 2-3 business days
You also will get an email intimation with the converted Indian Rupee amount

DeleteThere is no transaction charges for withdrawing your mturk earning to the linked bank account
Remarks : For the first time when you adding your bank account mturk charge one time charge of $3 . This is be the service charge levied by Amazon for adding your bank details. Once you done this step, later on you can transfer your earning without any service charges
i am not getting MTURK bank account details in my account. I am only getting gift card transfer. I have opened new account also still its not showing adding bank account details. How to do that??

ReplyDeleteYou will get the conversion rate for the day on which payment occurs. There is no further transaction charges from Mturk for withdrawing your earnings other than the one time bank set up fee

DeleteMturk didn't stopped direct bank transfer option. This option is not available only for new accounts and as per the news from mturk it will be active for new members in the near future

Old mturk account holders still have the bank withdrawal option and is working pretty fine. So keep on working and hopefully this option will be activate for your account soon
Hi this is Himanth from India i am new worker in mturk i completed 10days of accepting hits and i got 15$.The problem is i am getting a option of only Amazon gift card but i am not getting an option to transfer to my account.Please help me regading this himanth005@gmail.com

Yes.. its true that being a new member your account only having transferring payments to amazon gift card account. Mturk not providing bank transfer option for the new members.
Still as per their official announcement, you can get the bank option in the future. Please refer the below link about the article on the same subject

DeleteAs your's is a new account, you will not be getting bank transfer option. Now you only have amazon.com gift card account option to redeem your earning.
In future you may get bank transfer option from mturk. But they did not disclose when the new account is going to have bank transfer option

You cannot do anything for the time being. In the future mturk may give bank transfer option to new accounts. Then only you can able to get it in your bank
im a new worker an i have only the gift card option . but even the gift card cant be use for indiAN AMAZOn account , it can only be used in us amazon where we wont get delivery . useless for me now

ReplyDeleteI've gone through the comments in this blog, and found that some member's accounts have been suspended by mturk, and my question is "Is there any proper reason to suspend an account? I mean without any standard reason, can mturk suspend any account? If do so, every worker should daily transfer their earnings to gift card balance so that our earnings will be safe over there even our account locked/suspended by mturk. What you say?

ReplyDeleteI am using mturk account from 2008 and i always do the work after reading the description properly and work provider's guidelines. DO your work in proper manner and your account will be safe.
